The High-Pressure 2nd Class Boiler course is designed for those who currently hold a Low-Pressure Boiler Operator License and a minimum of two years experience in a low boiler setting. Participants will learn Minnesota requirements for boiler rating, license requirements A, B, or C; safe boiler operations, relief valves, gas and oil fuel valves, and safety switches; boiler light off procedures, safe shutdowns, and more. Instructor: William (Bill) Wright is the instructor and he currently holds his Chief A License and is the Plant Maintenance Engineer at Bemidji State University. Bill started out as a Boiler Technician in the Navy in 1972. Bill started teaching for Advanced Minnesota in the Fall of 2019.
