Cook County Local Energy Project is excited to host this workshop a building science primer, followed by a high-performance enclosure session, and a high-performance mechanical systems session. Licensed contractors and building inspectors can receive 7 DLI continuing education credits (approved by DLI) for attending this class that includes 1 hour of energy education (approved by DLI).
This course is also open to all builder professionals and interested persons who do not need continuing education credits. Please see registration fees for lower costs if you do not need the credits.
Anyone who works with residential construction is encouraged to attend. We also strongly encourage any homeowner who is thinking about building a home to attend this workshop to learn more about the home building process.
Information about the Residential Energy Efficiency Program, REEP, will be available at the workshop.
