Kintsugi is the Japanese art of repairing pottery by mending areas of breakage with precious metals, making the work more beautiful and more intriguing for having been broken. For our Tenth Annual Community Art Show, Spirit of the Wilderness Episcopal Church will use the spaces at North Shore Health. We invite members of the community to consider these themes of brokenness, healing and meaning through their chosen medium. The show will open on Feb. 21 and will run through the end of April. Provision is being made for 3D as well as hung works. Each artist must provide titles, a price list, a brief artist statement, and contact information as they drop their work on Feb. 17th and 18th. Any sales of works will be direct with the individual artist, with neither Spirit of the Wilderness Episcopal Church nor North Shore Health participating in the sale
