Introduction

The Annual Pincushion Trails Work Day is coming up next Saturday. This work-day is a key part of keeping the Pincushion trails cleared in preparation for the upcoming ski season. We need your help.

Work Description

The goal is to clear the trails of encroaching undergrowth and tree limbs, enabling a clear path roughly from outside ditch to outside ditch and 12 feet tall for the ski trail grooming equipment to ensure we are well set up for great ski trails. Volunteer trail section “captains” have already been at work on different sections of the trail system and in many areas brush has been cut but still needs to be cleared from the trail into the woods.

Saturday, October 26, from 1-5PM

Where

Meet and sign in at Pincushion chalet. Volunteers will be organized into teams to head out to high-priority sections of the trail.

What to Bring

Work gloves, work boots, hand tools (saws, loppers)
