The name is different, but it's the same annual kickoff event to Fisherman's Picnic. And this year we're serving dinner and taking bids until 7:00 pm! Please join us for our traditional dinner of: Homemade fishcakes, ham, meatballs, baked beans, potato salad, and hot German potato salad. Fresh fruit and veggies, coleslaw, and bread. Coffee or lemonade. Homemade desserts. The Lioness Club is now the Women's Initiative for Service and Education (WISE), but the members and what we do are the same: We raise money for Cook County schools, Cook County non-profit organizations, and an annual $1,000 college scholarship for a graduating senior.
