The Cook County YMCA will be hosting a lifeguard certification course on May 17th and May 18th at Cook County Higher Ed and the YMCA.

• May 17th 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm
• May 18th 8:00 pm - 7:00 pm.

Are you whistle worthy? Anyone age 16+ that can swim 300 yards is invited to join us for a Red Cross lifeguard training. The YMCA is currently hiring for all shifts (early morning, mid-day, evening, and weekend!) Lifeguards work anywhere from 2.5 hours-29 hours/week. It's a great and rewarding summer job. Benefits in addition to the hourly wage include a free membership and 25% off of programs for you and your family. This class is free for anyone that applies for employment at the Y. Students must attend both sessions to complete the course.
