Tools for Felting w/Elise Kyllo

One of the best things about felting is that the most important tool is your hands. Beyond this, is just the wool, soap, water and your creative labor. When tools are needed, they are quite simple and can often be found at second hand stores or made from recycled materials. We will look at store bought options versus homemade versions and together we will make the basics of a felting tool kit for needle felting and wet felting. Feel free to bring snacks and beverages for a social, playing/working evening. Felting Kit will include: one needle felting tool, one multi needle felting tool, water sprinkler, sheer for wet felting, rubber pad for wet felting, Wet felted wool base for needle felting (called a Wool Buddy), Wet felting rubbing tool for flat felt; small, med or large. If you are able to bring the following, otherwise instructor will have extras available: a wine cork, a liter/quart plastic bottle with the top, a towel, old wool sweater or blanket, scraps ok
