Learn the age-old art of making baskets using black ash splints with instructor in residence April Stone. Diagonal plaiting is a type of weave where the uprights of the basket become the weavers themselves. Using choice pre-harvested and prepared material, participants will learn how to plait (an approximate) 5x5x5” black ash splint basket of their own to take home. Registration limited to 8 students.
