Winter Gathering & Dance feat. the SplinterTones

All Ages Event

People of all ages from all over the county and beyond are invited to enjoy the light and warmth of community celebration at this dark, cold time of year when we need it most.

The SplinterTones are a six-piece band who play a zesty mix of tunes in an arrestingly original style. With their rousing rhythmic grooves, vibrant harmonies, and colorful stage presence, the SplinterTones crowd dance floors up and down the shore and beyond. The SplinterTones are: Leah Thomas, accordion and vocals; Rick Brandenburg, drums; Jeff DeShaw, bass and vocals; Max Bichel, violin and vocals; Liz Sivertson, saxophone, clarinet, and vocals; and John Gruber, guitar and vocals.

There's no admission fee, but donations will be gratefully accepted.

This event is funded in part by the Opp-Hvidston Foundation, a small, private family foundation created in 2015 by Patricia Hvidston and Roger Opp, residents of East Cook County, MN.
