Come to the Gunflint Lodge Conference Center on Saturday, November 11th to hear the Bluegrass & Stingband duo Dick Kimmel and Pamela Longtine. Dick has been inducted into America’s Old-Time Country and Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame, the Minnesota Music Hall of Fame, and the Mid-America Music Hall of Fame. Pamela Longtine plays traditional music inspired by the fiddlers who carried dance tunes, such as schottisches, jigs, and polkas from Northern Europe to the United States and Canada. They have been performing together in groups since 2014, and as a duo since 2015. Dick and Pamela released their first album on May 1, 2017, showcasing their amazing music. Guests staying at Gunflint Lodge for the Bluegrass & Stringband Weekend package can enjoy musical events on Friday and Saturday. The Saturday evening concert is open to the public for a small cover charge.
