Dave and Amy Freeman spent a year living in our backyard, the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness. Not only did they live to tell the tale, they wrote a whole book about their experiences waking up in one of the world's most pristine ecosystems for 365 days. Dave and Amy will read from and sign copies of "A Year in the Wilderness" (hot off the presses!) at North House Folk School on Saturday, September 23 at 7:30pm. Doors open at 7:15.
