This will be a power-point presentation based on Gene Glader's next book entitled Downtown Grand Marais Vol. II. It is a brief historical review of the developments along highway 61 in Downtown Grand Marais and the side streets leading to Wisconsin Street. This is the area that was not covered in the first book titled Downtown Grand Marais. The core area for the book is about the area from the former Sea Wall Motel to Spruceglen Inn. The presentation and book document the significant changes that have taken place during every generation or 20-25 year period since about 1870. You will be prompted to plan on more changes in the next 25 years.
