We invite you to join us as VPC dancers to help raise awareness about domestic and sexual violence in our community and to support VPC services and programs. VPC dancers gather pledges of support from family, friends, businesses etc. prior to the event, and then tear up the dance floor on the day of. All funds must be raised before the event, and then the day of is just for dancing! VPC dancer registration is $25 and you’ll receive a t-shirt, pledge sheet, and info on VPC programs and the NO More campaign. $25 dollar registration fee does not cover entry costs to Radiowaves – Radiowaves costs $10/day or $20 for the weekend. ​ If getting out there and tearing it up on the dance floor isn't your thing...No Worries! You can pledge your support to the VPC team via our staff team or another dancer you know! Your support is so appreciated! ​ Why should you register to dance or give a pledge of support? Your support allows the VPC to maintain and expand our services and make sure that survivors of violence and their loved ones have access to free and confidential services right here in our community. Because of you a survivor is able to access support group services, a young woman has the chance to acquire and practice confidence building interpersonal skills during girls group, and young men and women receive education about consent, healthy relationships, and where to find help if help is needed. Your support allows us to provide emergency safe housing when staying at home is not a safe option. It lets us purchase gas and food cards to provide survivors with necessities, and it also sends a strong message that the use of violence is not accepted in our community. These are just a few examples of the services your support provides, we couldn't do it without you, thank you.
