Stitched up in Embroidery: Make your own Patches!

Kid's Course

In this course I will teach students the basics of embroidery. We will explore the historical and cultural significance of needle work and how we can integrate things we love and are passionate about into stitched works of art! During the hour of teaching  we will  make fun patches  for our backpacks, jean jackets, hats, etc. Students can embroider any image they desire to be able to sport some flair! We will sew them onto an article of clothing (with permission from parents) and leave campus feeling snazzy! I will provide each student with a packet of embroidery floss and fabric to bring home with them so that they can make more patches or other wonderful creations. Call today to register kids ages 9-12!
