Local hiking, biking, ATV, snowmobile and ski trails make the region a destination for outdoor recreation and the work of forest volunteers keeps these trails open for use. Join us for an open house to visit with local groups about their upcoming volunteer events and learn how you can get involved. Our featured speaker for the evening will be John Storkamp. As a “lifetime” Superior Hiking Trail Association Member, SHT volunteer Sawyer and race director for the Superior Spring and Fall Trail Running races held on the Superior Hiking Trail, John has a one of a kind perspective on volunteerism to share.
