The National Weather Service (NWS) in Duluth has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for portions of northeast Minnesota, including Cook and Lake Counties and Grand Portage. The advisory is scheduled to be in effect from 1 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, March 31, 2026.

The National Weather Service (NWS) in Duluth has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for portions of northeast Minnesota, including Cook and Lake Counties and Grand Portage. The advisory is scheduled to be in effect from 1 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, March 31, 2026.
According to the National Weather Service, mixed precipitation is expected, including up to 2" of snow accumulation and a light glaze of ice.
The primary concern is the potential for hazardous travel conditions. The NWS states that travelers should expect slippery road conditions and advises drivers to slow down.
