Here is a roundup of 4th of July-related events in Cook County and Grand Portage. All event details are subject to change by specific organizers due to weather, etc. 


Devil's Track Lake

The annual Devil Track Boat Parade kicks off Friday, July 4th, at 1:30 p.m., with boaters beginning to line up at 1 p.m. in front of Skyport Lodge’s dock.

Grand Marais Harbor

Fireworks at dusk. Grand Marais Harbor. 

Grand Portage

Rock the Lake
Two nights of live music at Grand Portage Lodge and Casino on July 4 from 6:30 p.m. to 10 p.m., and July 5 from 2:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. The event is free. Learn more.

Fireworks
Fireworks will begin at 10:15 at Grand Portage Lodge and Casino.


Gunflint Trail

Poplar Paddle Parade
Parade begins at White Pine Lodge on the main dock at 2 p.m. Paddle to Poplar Haus for a drink, then head back to White Pine Lodge. Participation is free, but reservations are requested. Learn more here


Tofte

Pancake Breakfast
Pancake Breakfast at the Schroeder Town Hall from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.  All proceeds go to support the Schroeder Fire Department. 

Tofte Trek
The Trek begins at Birch Grove Community School at 9 a.m. Registration required. Learn more here.

Activities
11 a.m.: Food and craft vendors, bouncy houses, live music, beer garden, and more open at Tofte Town Hall/Park. 

Tofte 4th of July Parade
Parade lineup starts at 1:30 PM at the Tofte Ranger Station. Anyone can participate. The parade will begin at 2 p.m. and run down Tofte Park Road. 
 
Fireworks
Fireworks will take place at 10 p.m. in Tofte Park. If it rains, fireworks will take place on July 5.
