Ruby's Pantry returns to the Cook County Community Center starting April 8

Cook County Ruby's Pantry announced it will return to the Cook County Community Center for the season, starting with the distribution date of April 8, 2025, and continuing through October. Distribution time will be 5:30 p.m.—6:30 p.m.
Volunteers are needed to help with the following from 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Training will be provided if needed:
Ruby's Pantry is a program that distributes food to anyone who eats on the second Tuesday of each month. Food shares are sold to community members for $25 a share, but vouchers are available to redeem for a free share from the Grand Marais Food Shelf, WIC office, Cook County Public Health Office, and Grand Portage.

- Separate out the food into shares
- Bringing carts of food shares out to waiting cars
