County Plumbing & Heating, Inc. and North Shore Plumbing Heating AC, LLC. announced today that the two companies have decided to part ways and reengage as competitors. 

On July 1, 2024, North Shore Plumbing Heating AC, LLC (NSPHAC) and County Plumbing & Heating, Inc. announced a partnership to "bring two family-operated businesses together to be the leading plumbing, heating, and air conditioning contractor in the local service area of Cook County," according to a release. The new combined entity would operate under the name North Shore Plumbing Heating AC, LLC. 

According to a statement from the two companies released today, "the parties have mutually decided to unwind the purchase and proceed separately." County Plumbing and Heating, Inc. will receive all its assets, and Timothy and Tanya Goettl will "regain ownership and control." Justin and Pamela Greely will retain ownership of North Shore Plumbing Heating AC, LLC. 

"Both parties are available for any and all plumbing requests and look forward to serving the community as healthy competitors," the release said.

"From County Plumbing & Heating, Inc., Timothy and Tanya Goettl, and North Shore Plumbing Heating AC, LLC:

On July 1, 2024, County Plumbing & Heating, Inc., Timothy Goettl and Tayna Goettl, and North Shore Plumbing Heating AC, LLC announced that North Shore Plumbing Heating AC, LLC had purchased County Plumbing & Heating, Inc. to better serve the greater Cook County community. For the last seven and a half months, all parties have worked to make the merger smooth and successful. Unfortunately, the parties were unable to successfully complete the merger and for that reason the parties have mutually decided to unwind the purchase and proceed separately. As a result County Plumbing & Heating, Inc. and all of its assets will be returned to County Plumbing & Heating, Inc. At that time, Timothy and Tanya Goettl will regain ownership and control of County Plumbing & Heating, Inc. Justin and Pamela Greeley will remain the owners of North Shore Plumbing Heating AC, LLC. Both parties have agreed to part ways and to reengage as competitors as if the purchase had never occurred.

County Plumbing & Heating, Inc. will regain ownership of its phone numbers of 218-370-0149 and 218-663-7873 and will also be reachable at [email protected]. North Shore Plumbing Heating AC, LLC will retain ownership of its phone number of 218-370-9669 and can also be reached at [email protected]. Both parties are available for any and all plumbing requests and look forward to serving the community as healthy competitors."
