Snow lovers across the county and state welcome the fresh snow, with many getting outside to participate in winter activities. While the area is still experiencing a snow deficit compared to a typical winter, for some, any amount is welcomed, especially after a difficult 23-24 season. According to the MN DNR snow depth map, northern Minnesota has some snow, but Cook County has the deepest snow in the entire state.
