An Alberta Clipper and cold front usher in strong winds and snow for the Arrowhead today and tomorrow. A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for Southern Cook County from 3pm Today thru Midnight, for snowfall accumulations of 3 to 7 inches. Blowing snow and snow squalls possible Wednesday followed by a cold Wednesday night, with temperatures in the single digits. Winds will increase today, with gusts of 40-45mph through the day Wednesday.
