Free 2024 Thanksgiving Day Community Meals in Cook County

Various people and organizations in the Cook County area have come together to arrange free Thanksgiving Day community meals on November 28.

Thanksgiving Day Community Meal at Lutsen Lutheran Church

The Lutsen Lutheran Church will host a Thanksgiving Day community meal on Thursday, November 28, at 1:00 p.m. Attendees are welcome to bring a dish to share, but it is not required. The Lutsen Lutheran Church is located at Hwy 61, just east of the Clearview Store (5307 Highway 61, Lutsen, MN).

From Lutsen Lutheran Church: Are you worried about sitting next to that crabby uncle at your family gathering?  No problem!  Ours is a safe space. All talk of religion and politics will be off-limits for the day.

First Congregational Church of Grand Marais: 50th Annual Community Thanksgiving Dinner

Everyone is invited to the 50th annual community Thanksgiving dinner at the First Congregational Church of Grand Marais. 

What: The Annual Community Thanksgiving Dinner. Family-style turkey dinner with all the trimmings. 

Date: Thursday, November 28, 2024

Time: 1 pm, doors open at noon

Where: Fellowship Hall, First Congregational Church (300 West 2nd Street, Grand Marais)
