Ruby's Pantry food distribution on November 12 in new location

Cook County Ruby's Pantry food distribution will take place tonight, November 12, from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm, at a new location: Great Expectations School (550 E 5th Street, Grand Marais). The vehicle line will form on the south side of 5th (also known as County Road 7) and west of Great Expectations, according to organization officials. Cars should not block driveways or cross streets.

Ruby's Pantry is a program that distributes food to at least 150 Cook County families or visitors on the second Tuesday of each month. Anyone who eats qualifies for a distribution share, and there are no income requirements.
Food shares are sold to community members for $25 each, but vouchers can be redeemed for a free share from Ruby's Pantry (ask when you arrive), Grand Marais Food Shelf, WIC office, Cook County Public Health Office, and Grand Portage.
