Dry weather from relative humidity in the 25-35% range and hot temperatures in the low-80s Thursday creates concern for near-critical fire weather conditions in north-central Minnesota. The driest and warmest forecast is for the Brainerd Lakes region Thursday.
Lingering warm temperatures on Friday cool to normal on Saturday ahead of an incoming cold front. Rain chances increase Saturday night along that cold front, with wind picking up along the South Shore Sunday. Rain chances last into Sunday as a comparably much cooler airmass sets up over the Northland. High temperatures Sunday into early next week are forecast in the upper-40s to low-50s.
