  • Details: Every Friday all summer long, meet at the Nature Center

  • Event: Dr. Lee Frelich Presentation
  • Topic: Potential for increased fire frequency with climate change
  • Details: Discussion on last year’s huge burns in Canada and their impact on the boreal forest

  • Museum Hours: 10:00 am – 5:00 pm
  • Nature Center Hours: 11:00 am – 4:00 pm
  • Watercraft Building Hours: 10:00 am - 4:00 pm
  • Admission: $6/adult, $3/children (5 – 18), under 5 are free. Discounts for Senior Citizens and the Military.
Location: Chik-Wauk Museum and Nature Center is off the Gunflint Trail (Hwy12). Turn right onto Moose Pond Drive (Cty Rd 81).
