Lake Superior Beach Advisory Alerts for Grand Marais, Two Harbors

Advisory Added - Grand Marais Downtown Beach
A -Water Contact Not Recommended- advisory has been issued by the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) on 6/4/2024 for Grand Marais Downtown Beach.  Elevated E. coli bacteria levels identified from samples collected 6/3/2024 indicate the possible presence of fecal contamination.  The beach is scheduled to be re-sampled 6/5/2024.

Grand Marais Downtown Beach is located in Grand Marais.

Advisory Added - Stewart River Beach
A -Water Contact Not Recommended- advisory has been issued by the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) on 6/4/2024 for Stewart River Beach.  Elevated E. coli bacteria levels identified from samples collected 6/3/2024 indicate the possible presence of fecal contamination.  The beach is scheduled to be re-sampled 6/4/2024.

Stewart River Beach is located north of Two Harbors at the mouth of Stewart River.

Advisory Added - Agate Bay Beach
A -Water Contact Not Recommended- advisory has been issued by the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) on 6/4/2024 for Agate Bay Beach.  Elevated E. coli bacteria levels identified from samples collected 6/3/2024 indicate the possible presence of fecal contamination.  The beach is scheduled to be re-sampled 6/5/2024.

Agate Bay Beach is located in Two Harbors.
