A slow-moving spring system will be bringing widespread on and off precipitation to the Northland for much of this workweek. Thunderstorms are possible on Tuesday evening into Tuesday night in northwest Wisconsin, but severe weather is not expected. Strong winds are expected Tuesday afternoon through Wednesday morning. Highest winds will be found near the North Shore, where gusts up to 45 mph are possible. Additional precipitation chances arrive on Thursday mainly north of US-2, where some light snow could mix in with rain. Little to no snow accumulation is expected.
