A frost advisory is in effect for northern Cook and Lake, southern Lake, and southern Cook counties from 11pm May 24, 2023 to 7am May 25. 
Cities included in the advisory are Isabella, Two Harbors, Silver Bay, Grand Marais and Grand Portage. 

Temperatures as low as 31 will result in frost formation which could kill sensitive outdoor vegetation if left uncovered.

While most areas are expected to remain above freezing tonight, there may be some localized areas that see temperatures as low as 31 degrees for a few hours, especially along the higher terrain and inland of the North Shore. Freezing temperatures are not expected along the immediate coastline of Lake Superior.

It is recommended to take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold.
