Since Mother Nature has other ideas this "spring", we at Boreal Community Media have decided to extend the deadline for our 'Signs of Spring' photo contest to 11:59pm, Wednesday, May 10.

We at Boreal Community Media had so much fun seeing your winter photo content entries that we decided to do it again! Spring is here and we know you, like us, will be out taking photos of all the beauty NE Minnesota has to offer. And, we want to see YOURS!

Here's what you need to know:
Prizes
First place: $50 gift card to either Isak Hansen Home and Hardware OR Cook County Home Center to help you with your spring yardwork expenses. (Note: Both of these businesses are Boreal sponsors and we are very grateful for their years of loyal support to our organization!)
Second and third place: your choice between a Boreal Community Media mug or a long-sleeved t-shirt
Entry deadline and details
UPDATED: The deadline has been extended to May 10, 2023 at 11:59pm.
Entries will be reviewed by Boreal Community Media staff and Board. A winner will be selected by Monday, May 22, 2023. Winners will be contacted via email or phone.
Terms and conditions
- One entry per person
- Amateur photographers only, please
- Photo must have been taken in April or May 2023 in NE Minnesota
- Photos can be taken of any subject, but the content must be family-friendly
- By submitting a photo, you allow Boreal Community Media the rights to publish the photo in an article on Boreal.org, and/or social media
- Boreal Community Media has the right to not share any photo submitted
How to submit your photo
Simply email your photo to [email protected]. That's it!
