There are so many people who work hard behind (and in front of) the scenes to help keep us safe during harsh Cook County weather.
Most recently, linemen, plow drivers, and others worked through the holiday, in blizzard winds and in below freezing temps to restore power and clear roads.
Those of us at Boreal Community Media know that you feel like we do - these people are truly the heroes that don't wear capes - and we want to thank them.
