North Shore Health (NSH) is thrilled to announce that they have launched their new and improved website. The previous website had become outdated and lacked some of the informative content that NSH administration wanted to convey. The new website is a complete redesign and features far more helpful information for our patients, residents, visitors and partners.

“In addition to improved depth of information, the new website is brighter, better branded, more visually compelling and easier to read and navigate,” said Todd Ford, Public Information Coordinator. “I enjoyed collaborating with the team that brought this priority project to completion.”

NSH quietly released a “soft launch” two weeks prior to their public announcement, allowing the opportunity to fine-tune details that may have been overlooked in the development process. “We now have vastly improved control of the new site, which enables our internal web admin team to make changes and updates,” said Hilja Iverson, LSW-Social Services Department Manager.

Derek Montgomery, a photographer from Duluth was recently engaged on a two-day photo shoot to capture all new imagery so that the site could better represent the current staff, services, facilities and capabilities.

NSH partnered on the project with Legato Healthcare Marketing, a Wisconsin firm that specializes in rural healthcare. Working closely with the NSH web team, they also developed a new and improved intranet site to provide employees with private access to news, events, employee recognition, quick links and more.

“We invite the public to visit our new website at https://www.northshorehealthgm.org,” said Kimber Wraalstad, NSH CEO/Administrator. “This has been a long time coming, and we couldn’t be prouder.”

North Shore Health is a rural health facility located on the beautiful north shore of Lake Superior in Grand Marais, MN. The organization, which is part of the Cook County Hospital District includes a 16-bed critical access hospital, a 37-bed skilled nursing facility, a home health agency, an ambulance service and a variety of diagnostic and therapeutic services. Their mission is “Community Access to Compassionate Care”.
