DULUTH, MN. (KBJR) - A group of Northland female artists are working together to help get their businesses off the ground.

Nice Girls of the North is a women’s art cooperative that’s been operating for more than a decade in the Twin Ports.

Saturday they held their Second Saturday Marketplace in Duluth, where artists could meet with customers and build community.

Theresa Hornstein is President of Nice Girls of the North.

According to Hornstein, over the years, some of the artists in the cooperative have become very successful with their products featured in shops around the area.

“I love when I go shopping other places and it’s like I remember her stuff, or it’s good to see her stuff there, it’s really heartwarming to see that,” said Hornstein.

The Nice Girls of the North marketplace is held on the second Saturday of each month.
