Historic Cook County's Roaring ‘20s Gala Fundraiser

Come celebrate the 1920s in Cook County at the Roaring ‘20s Gala sponsored by the Cook County Historical Society!

The fundraising gala event will take place at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 23, at the Cook County Community Center, 317 West 5th Street, Grand Marais, MN.

This will be our biggest fundraiser of the year and sponsorship opportunities are still available!

Guests will be able to sip vintage cocktails and dance to the tunes of the age! The evening will feature live music from the local Dan Nelson Quartet, a 1920s fashion display courtesy of Judy Boots, a historical presentation by local historian Dan Helmerson, dancing, true-to-the-era appetizers and cocktails, games, and prizes!

Join us with your friends and family – attendees are encouraged to come in 1920s-era costumes. Prizes for the most authentic and most original costumes to be awarded.
