Traveling? Overnight lane closures planned for Northbound Interstate 35 from Forest Lake to North Branch July 17-22

Motorists traveling on Interstate 35 between Forest Lake and North Branch should plan for delays as northbound I-35 will be reduced to a single lane overnight beginning Sunday, July 17.

Beginning at 7 p.m., Sunday, July 17, northbound I -35 will be reduced to a single lane nightly between Highway 8 in Forest Lake and Highway 95 in North Branch. All lanes will reopen by 7 a.m. each morning July 17-22.

These lane closures are necessary as crews install permanent pavement marking to the road. All work is expected to be complete by Friday, July 22.

All construction activities and traffic impacts are weather dependent and subject to change. MnDOT urges motorists to always be attentive, drive with caution, slow down in work zones where workers are present.
