The big news today at GES was Step Up Day!  Students nervously anticipated the visit to their future classrooms and were abuzz with excitement afterward!  Suddenly, the students seem older and ready for their next grade level change.

Yearbooks are coming!  It's not too late to order one for your child if you have not already done so.  Cost is $15 - cash, or check payable to GES.  No worries if you can't find the order form. Just send payment in an envelope with your child's name on it.

Last Saturday's Plant Sale and Pancake Breakfast was a wonderful event!  Thank you to all of our terrific volunteers who made it a success!  If you missed it, there are still plenty of plants available in the greenhouse attached to school.  If you need tomatoes, peppers - hot or sweet, kale, or cucumbers, we have you covered!  Stop by during school hours to shop.  (Sorry - no leftover pancakes.)

Student designed, GES T-Shirts were also sold at the plant sale, with a good selection remaining in two different designs!  Adult size - $25, Youth size - $20.  Water bottle stickers in these designs are $3.00 each.  ORDER FORM

Public Health Update

1. Beginning Friday, May 27, while at school, ALL individuals (including visitors) will be required to wear KN-95 masks indoors in public, regardless of vaccination status or individual risk. 
2. At this time public health does NOT recommend cancelling our planned activities including Step Up Day, Beach Day, and Graduation.
3. We respectfully ask that individuals who attend graduation self test one day prior to the event and 5 days after to reduce the risk of community spread.
