Greetings, Families!

It was great to have so many families join us last night for the Writing Celebration!  As I looked at everyone in the classrooms, great room, and out on the playground when I left, it reminded me of "pre-Covid" days.  There was a truly joyful spirit in the air!  Thank you to everyone who masked for this event.  Together, our efforts make a difference!

Our next big event will be the Annual GES Plant Sale on Saturday, May 21!  This year the Pancake Breakfast will also return, so families can enjoy breakfast before shopping for plants!  This is our only big fundraiser of the year, and many hands are needed to make it a success.  Please sign up for a time to help with either the plant sale, or the pancake breakfast.  Working at this event is a social opportunity to connect with others in the community that we haven't seen all winter.

Here is a picture of the first blooms of the seeds students planted for the sale.
