* WHAT...For the Storm Warning, west winds 20 to 30 kt with gusts up to 55 kt and waves 4 to 7 ft. For the Gale Warning, west winds 20 to 25 kt with gusts up to 45 kt and waves 4 to 7 ft expected.
* WHERE...Grand Portage to Grand Marais MN and Grand Marais to Taconite Harbor MN.
* WHEN...For the Storm Warning, until 11 AM CST this morning. For the Gale Warning, from 11 AM this morning to 10 PM CST this evening.
* IMPACTS...Very strong winds will cause hazardous waves which could capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Mariners should remain in port, alter course, and/or secure the vessel for severe conditions.
