All that snow that forecasters had been predicting is finally here in the Northland and you either love it or you hate it.

For many it was a great start to the month of December. Vickie Thurbjornsen who visited Duluth Winter village from Wisconsin says, "It is so typical Northwoods I love it, you know you have to live in the Northwoods and be ready for it. It's perfect.”

And while some stayed at home, some Northlanders were out and about. Many are excited for the fun activities to do with the snow.

Many were playing or doing activities in the snow but some still had to work in it. The folks over at Bentleyville were busy shoveling today to clear the paths of the attraction.

Nathan Bentley says, "For me the snow is only work. It's not anything else for us. It's strictly work. So if we don't have snow I'm completely fine with that."

But whether you do or do not like the snow it's for sure looking like the start of a white December.
