Video: 5 injured in house explosion in Cambridge, Minnesota

Five people are hurt after a house exploded Saturday morning in Cambridge, Minnesota.
According to the Isanti County Sheriff's Office, the explosion happened just after 5:30 a.m. on the 33000 block of Hilary Circle Northeast.
When firefighters from the Isanti and Cambridge fire departments arrived, they found four people outside the residence who were injured. A fifth person was in the basement, and emergency crews were able to get that person out, the sheriff's office said. All five of them — three men and two women — were transported to hospitals and are expected to survive. The victims are believed to be four people in their 40s and one in their 20s.
Chris Rosa, who lives next door, heard the explosion early in the morning. He said the victims rushed over to ask for help.
“I was just lying in bed when I heard the loud boom,” Rosa said. "Shortly after, I realized there were people at my front door, and then when I looked through the camera they were asking to call 911.”
He explained his wife called 911 after realizing the people outside were injured.
“They were saying that they were in the house and the house collapsed on top of them,” Rosa said. “I'm glad they got out. That's how close and fragile life is, but they got out. That's the silver lining.”
Elder said the neighbors were a big help after the explosion happened.
“The neighbors were great and quick to call 911, and have been wonderful in providing bathrooms and spots for police and fire to be able to use,” Elder said.
The cause and manner of the explosion are under investigation.
"You don't often see people walk away from a home explosion, and especially with non-life-threatening injuries," said Capt. John Elder with the Isanti County Sheriff's Office. "Again, we're thankful that this wasn't far more severe."
