8 new COVID-19 Cases reported to Cook County

Cook County has received notice of 8 new COVID-19 cases in the last week, bringing the total case count for Cook County to 216 since the beginning of the pandemic.  

Upcoming vaccination events in Cook County

Sawtooth Mountain Clinic

These events uses the Pfizer vaccine (2-shot vaccine series spaced 21 days apart) and is open to community members ages 12+.  *Note - Those ages 12-17 need a parent or guardian present at the point of vaccination

Thursday, September 16th (Second doses due on October 7th)

8:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.

Thursday, September 23rd (Second doses due on October 14th)

8:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.

Thursday, September 30th (Second doses due on October 21st)

This event uses the Moderna vaccine and is open to community members ages 18+ in need of their second dose of the Moderna vaccine.

Thursday, September 23rd (2nd Dose Only)
8:30 a.m. - 9:30 a.m. (2nd dose only)

According to the Minnesota Department of Health, 79.7% of the Cook County population aged 16+ has received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccines.
