A man has been arrested following a shots fired incident and a standoff in Duluth early Saturday morning.

Duluth Police responded to a report of a shooting in the 4700 block of Grand Avenue around 2:30 a.m.

Authorities found shell casings and witnesses when they arrived on scene.

Police identified the suspect as a 46-year-old man who they say shot at someone after a dispute.

They say he left the scene and walked to his home in Morgan Park where a "short standoff" occurred, according to a press release from police.

The man surrendered, and police arrested him without any further issues.

The suspect has three pending charges, including second degree assault.

No one was hurt in the incident.
