Northland regional wildfire updates and closures now one click away on boreal.org

The banner linking to the Wildfire web page can be found at the top of the Boreal.org home page.

With the help of wildfire management officials from the Superior National Forest, the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources, Cook County Emergency Management and other official sources, Boreal Community Media has created a resource to consolidate Northland regional wildfire information and updates in one easy to access webpage one click from the Boreal home page.
Just click the red banner at the top of the Boreal home page and you will be linked to the new Boreal Regional Wildfire Information page. While we hope rains will soon arrive to dampen wildfires across northern Minnesota and northwest Ontario, the webpage will remain available until wildfire impacts subside.
The webpage will draw information together from Emergency Management and Fire Management officials across the region and will be updated when new information becomes available in chronological order with the most recent information at the top of the page.
