Chalk.a.Lot returned to Two Harbors Saturday, drawing in artists from across the region.

Two Harbors Area Arts and Events organizes the annual chalk art festival for art enthusiasts of all ages and abilities to enjoy.

Coffee, doughnuts, and lunch were provided.

Many gathered to enjoy the process of creating art on the sidewalks and streets of historic downtown Two Harbors.

"A lot of my stuff this summer has been inspired by vintage circus posters," Artists Annmarie Geniusz said. "I just kinda find a file on my computer of photos I took at a circus world museum a few years ago, and I have been delighting and looking at them being like, 'Aww. I love this museum it's the greatest.'"

The main event centered around Thomas Owens Park in Two Harbors.
