Notice to Haulers: Lifting of Additional Seasonal Load Restrictions

Seasonal load restrictions will end on the following Cook County roads effective at 12:01 am tomorrow, Wednesday, May 12, 2021. Legal weight trucks will be able to use these roads unless otherwise posted:
- CSAH 4
- CSAH 6
- CSAH 20
- CSAH 21
- CSAH 22
- CR 33
- CR 38
- CR 39
- CR 46
- CR 47
- CR 50
- CR 51
- CR 81
- CR 83
- CR 85
- CR 91
- CR 92
- CR 94
Restrictions will remain on the following roads:
- CSAH 14
- CSAH 16 from Tower Rd to end
- CR 44
- CR 45
- CR 55
- CR 58
- CR 60
- CR 64
- CR 67
- CR 69
- CR 70
- CR 74
The condition of gravel roads will continue to be inspected daily, and load restrictions on each road will be removed as soon as conditions allow.
Haulers are asked to be mindful of posted bridges, which have year-round varying load restrictions, on some Cook County Highways. Any questions can be directed to the Highway Department at 218-387-3014.
