NOTICE TO HAULERS: Some seasonal load restrictions will end on Monday

From the Cook County MN Highway Department - April 30, 2021

Seasonal load restrictions on Cook County’s paved roads and some gravel roads will end on Monday, May 3, 2021 in accordance with Minnesota’s guidance for the North frost zone. Legal weight trucks will be able to use these roads unless otherwise posted effective at 12:01 am that day. Restrictions will remain on the following gravel roads:

  • CSAH 4 from FS164 to end
  • CSAH 6 
  • CSAH 14
  • CSAH 16 from Tower Rd to end
  • CSAH 20
  • CSAH 21
  • CSAH 22
  • CR 33
  • CR 38
  • CR 39
  • CR 44
  • CR 45
  • CR 46
  • CR 47
  • CR 50
  • CR 51
  • CR 55
  • CR 58
  • CR 60
  • CR 64
  • CR 67
  • CR 69
  • CR 70
  • CR 74
  • CR 81
  • CR 83
  • CR 85
  • CR 91
  • CR 92
  • CR 94

The condition of gravel roads will continue to be inspected daily, and load restrictions on each road will be removed as soon as conditions allow.

Haulers are asked to be mindful of posted bridges, which have year-round varying load restrictions, on some Cook County Highways. Any questions can be directed to the Highway Department at 387-3014.
