Registration for May Vaccination Events Now Open, Offering Evening, Weekend and West End Options

Cook County Public Health and Sawtooth Mountain Clinic opened registration Monday for COVID-19 vaccination events during the month of May:
· Cook County Community Center in Grand Marais
· 4-7 p.m.
· Lutsen Town Hall
· 1-4 p.m.
· Cook County Community Center in Grand Marais
· 10 a.m.-1 p.m.
· Schroeder Town Hall
· 3-6 p.m.
Registration for first-dose appointments is available via the Cook County Coronavirus Response Hub site at www.cookcountycovid19.org. To complete the online registration, individuals will need to provide:
· name, address, phone number and date of birth
· a valid email address
All events will use the Moderna vaccine, which is a two-dose series with second doses due 28 days after the first. All individuals are automatically registered for their second-dose appointment when receiving their first dose. Assistance is available for those who do not have internet access or need additional help signing up for an appointment. Call 218-877-8273 or email [email protected] for support. Registration is required for these and all future vaccine events.
Registration is also open for first-dose appointments at Thursday’s (April 29) event, which will take place from 8 a.m. to noon event at the Community Center. Cook County Public Health will continue to inform the community of additional vaccination opportunities via media release and social media as events are organized.
