Cook County Reports Four Additional COVID-19 Cases, Bringing the Total Case Count to 122

Cook County has received notice of four new COVID-19 cases since last Thursday March 4: two males (30s, 50s) and two female (20s). This brings the total case count for Cook County to 122 since the beginning of the pandemic. The total of 122 cases is up from 118 reported last Thursday and represents the first cases reported in March.  Cook County remains to have the lowest number of confirmed cases by county in Minnesota.  

Statewide, there have been 493,013 COVID-19 cases statewide in Minnesota with 479,267 people released from isolation with 6,705 deaths.

On the vaccine front, 2,375 have received at least one dose of COVID-19 vacicine in Cook County with 1,734 have received the full series.  That represents 44.2% of the county population receiving at least one dose of the vaccine.  1.1 million Minnesotans have received the first dose with 615,432 completing the series.
