Cook County Reports No Additional COVID-19 Cases, Total Case Count Remains at 118

Cook County has received notice of no new COVID-19 cases since last Thursday, February 18. The total case count for Cook County remains at 118 since the beginning of the pandemic.

A total of 2,179 people have received at least one dose of vaccine in Cook County, or 40.5% of the county population.  800 people have completed the vaccine series.  Cook County did not host a public vaccination event during the week due to shipping delays created by the cold snap in the southern U.S. last week.  A new announcement regarding the next event is expected Monday.

According to the Minnesota Department of Health, a total of 783,124 Minnesota residents have received their first vaccine as of Tuesday, February 23, 2021
