Cook County Sheriff Pat Eliasen posted on Facebook on Tuesday a unique offer for Cook County community members to show their unity.  In association with the Minnesota Sheriff's Association, the Sheriff's office is offering a pin "as a small token that we can give community members as a reminder that what unites us, is greater than what divides us."

Here is the original Facebook message from the Sheriff:

2020 has been a year like no other. Beginning with the worldwide pandemic, the massive civil unrest, and the political dissension that has divided our citizens, it has been a very difficult year. The Cook County Sheriff's Office would like to play a role in bringing people and the community back together.

The Minnesota Sheriff's Association designed a pin as a small token that we can give community members as a reminder that what unites us, is greater than what divides us.

If you would like a pin, please message me on the Sheriff Cook Facebook page, call 218-387-3075, text me at 218-370-0188, or 218-387-5123. These are free and we can get them to anyone who would like one. Happy Holidays everyone and take care.
