Cook County Highway Department Maintenance Supervisor Josh Dix stands near a plow stake. The department placed these around Grand Marais Wednesday to help plows follow the edge of the road(s) where there are width transitions or bump outs.
Dix asks that the stakes be left as installed: the department will pick them up in the spring. Any questions can be directed to Josh at 218-387-3014.
